This rare photo from Frank's collection shows PIA's very first Fokker F27, sporting Dutch registration PH-FCB, on a pre-delivery test flight. The aircraft was delivered to PIA as AP-ALM on January 3, 1961. On August 06, 1970, AP-ALM crashed just three minutes after take off from Rawalpindi for a flight to Lahore. Weather was not good for flying with heavy rain and strong wind when this accident happened. All 30 people on board (4 crew members and 26 passengers) died in this tragic crash

This rare photo from Frank's collection shows AP-ATO parked at Chitral Airport in late 1960s. On December 16, 1978, AP-ATO with three crew members onboard took off from Karachi Airport for training flight including a series of stall tests. On final approach to Karachi Airport, both engines of the aircraft lost power immediately following power increase during a stall recovery and the aircraft crashed near the airport. Unfortunately one of the crew members aboard the Fokker died in this accident

Umar took this photo of AP-BBF from Karachi Airport ATC on December 5, 1985. On August 25, 1989, AP-BBF, was operating flight from Gilgit to Islamabad with a total of 54 passengers and crew members when it crashed in the Himalayan mountains region. Wreckage of AP-BBF was never found and it is believed that all passengers and crew members died in this accident

Arif took this photo of ill-fated AP-BAL at Chitral Airport on November 19, 2005. Less than a year later, on July 10, 2006, AP-BAL crashed soon after take off from Multan Airport, killing all 45 passengers and crew members aboard the aircraft
